Gorton Response Limited was established in August 2012 to offer a range of training, exercise and response services to the international community.

We offer pollution incident response, incident response management (aerial surveillance and reconnaissance, at-sea operations and SCAT) and damage mitigation (accident investigation, environmental risk and damage assessment, evaluation and monitoring of response contractors, recommendation on remedial actions and post-incident monitoring).

Our staff and associates have many years of response experience ranging from incidents offshore (installations), shipping incidents (collisions, groundings, salvage, ship-to-ship transfers, removal of oil from sunken wrecks) to onshore incidents (ports, terminals, depots, pipelines, aircraft, road, rail).

In addition they have designed, implemented and managed spill response facilities across the world.

We are a Nautical Institute accredited training company and have written and gained accreditation for a number of international companies. In addition we have written courses for OSRL (HNS Awareness), AMSA (Level 1 HNS Response) and IMO.

We have recently reviewed and re-written the IMO OPRC Oil Model Courses (Levels 0 to 3) in collaboration with TRIOX Environmental Emergencies Inc. This completes the suite of IMO OPRC model courses as we previously designed and wrote the new IMO OPRC HNS Model Courses.
